1. Identify

If you see a colour that really grabs you and you want to know how you can get that colour in your home, take a picture while the application is open, or take the picture and load it into the application at a later stage, and then select which colour caught your eye. The application will not only give you a range of Plascon paint swatches that best match the colour, but also provide you with the following helpful information:

  1. Complimentary colours
    In case you're worried you'll be stuck with just your colour, the application will identify for you the colours that are opposite to the colour you've chosen. These colours will compliment each other and give you a broader spectrum with which to work.
  2. Adjacent colours
    You will also be shown the colours that lie to either side of the colour you have chosen so you can get an idea of where your colour fits in and whether you might want a darker or lighter colour close to what you had originally chosen
  3. Save to favourites
    If you like the colour and want to buy it, but aren't near a hardware store or don't need it at that moment, then all you need to do is save the colour to your favourites and when you're ready, the colour will be waiting for you.

2. Guide

You're about to start a new paint project, but aren't sure about what paint will work on your walls and how much you need so you don't end up wasting unnecesarily. As part of the application, the guide will help you plan this out and make your project and enjoyable. You will be able to select a surface and you will get a list of Plascon products suitable for that surface. Once you've selected the product that works for you, you will be provided with a number of guidelines on how much to use, how to clean the brushes and rollers and which tools are key for the best application.
You'll no longer need to stress whether what you're doing is right because Plascon will be with you all the way. The guide will even give you advice on handling common paint problems such as moisture, cracks, mildew and many more.

3. Colours

If you're not sure which colour you want to choose to get your project off the ground, you can browse through Plascons vast range of paint colours to help you make your decision. Starting with the main, primary colours, you will be able to view all the different shades of any selected primary colour. If you want to know more, just tap on the colour and you will get all the information you need as well as the option to view its adjacent and complimentary colours.

4. Favourites

Remember that colour you chose or took a photo of and now want to use to really liven up your living room or kitchen? No? No need to worry. If you saved the colour then just open up your favourites and you will have all the information you need at your finger tips. Now you just have to head down to your nearest hardware store and buy your favourite Plascon paint colour.
