Plascon Metallic is a premium, water-based metallic coating with a lustrous finish. The intensity of this elegant coating appears to alter subtly depending on the angle at which it is viewed. Use it to add richness, depth, and dimension to your walls and trims.

Step 1
Stir the Metallic Silver well with a flat paddle for 5 minutes before use, and every 30 minutes while painting. Do not dilute the paint.
Tip: Ensure that the wall surface has been properly prepared. It should be smooth, clean, firm and dry. Fill any defects with the appropriate Polycell Filler.
Step 2
Using either a roller or a brush, apply a thin, even coat of Metallic Silver, taking care to avoid overspreading the paint. Allow at least four hours for the paint to dry, then apply a second coat.
Tip: When brushing, keep your strokes in one direction – vertical and horizontal strokes produce different shades. When painting broadwalls, avoid having to touch up areas later, if possible.
Step 3
To protect the coating and enhance the lustrous metallic finish, apply a clear coat of Plascon Glazecoat Gloss (1124), or Matt (1125), using a clean brush or roller once the paint has fully dried.
